its a beautiful dayyyyyyyyyyy

I hope that U2 song is stuck in your head now. so yeah, today has been "magical" (as adam would say). I had good breakfast, school, bought stuff, broke stuff, went back to school. follow me, I'll take you on a dialectic journey....and yes I made that word up.

so I had leftover cold pizza for breakfast and pinapple juice. What a combo, it was delicious. Then we hit up school for about 30 minutes, didnt really do anything. After that, we went to this mall a few stops down the metro. Inside they had the equivalent of a Publix or a Kroger in there. I finally got to pick up some things I haven't been able to find. see below for the mysterious products.

Then I started to roid rage on display's in electronic stores. I was walking around this really nice electronics store looking for another turkish adapter. I came upon this little display rack that looked like it would spin, much like the ones in America. Annnnd I was horribly mistaken. I tried to spin in it, but I ended up judo chopping it onto the floor. Sounded like I just shattered a giant mirror or something. Didn't help that everything fell directly onto the security desk and slammed into their computer hahahaha. I kept saying "sorry" and "i'll help" in turkish, but they were really cool and weren't mad at all. So that was my one stupid american move, no more allowed. Nothing broke, so its all gravy.

Went to my fav place to eat called Damak. They have the $1.25 chicken pitas. The chicken isnt seasoned much, hence the flood of emotion when I found the green tabasco. I've been there so many times, I just walk in and they make my pita without me saying anything haha. Love it.

and also the granola bars are my breakfast for the rest of the semester. If I am gonna eat breakfast, it has to be on the run.

So school is da bomb diggity! My professors name is Abdullah Erencin. I call him Paula Abdul for short...jk. The project sounds amazing, the studio is amazing, and the girls are cute. Sounds like a winning combo for the man they call Chad Pryor.

My schedule isnt completely set in stone, but I think it looks something like this.
Monday : 1:30-6
Tuesday : 9:30-2
Wednesday : not sure yet
Thursday : 1:30-6
Friday : no school

aight, hopefully I can catch some of you on skype. I havent really talked to many of ya! love peace and peanut butter grease

  1. Chad, this is Brent's Mom. I really love reading about your travels and experiences. Keep up the good work. You're a great writer. I feel like I've been there. I have to translate some of the Obama language, but I'm learning. Best of luck with the whole experience. You'll never regret it.

  2. HAYHAYHAY! You need to send some chicken pitas to the states cuz I love me some chicken. Mom sent me a picture of Beastie yesterday and I almost broke the keyboard from the cuteness. I watched the cat on youtube....you didn't know Sophie could do the same thing? It a secret society of underground yawny-singing cats. DUH.
